Hey everyone! I need some advice about switching away from HubSpot. Our team currently uses Salesforce for sales management, but we’ve been using HubSpot for our marketing stuff. The problem is their pricing has gotten really expensive over the last couple of years.
We mostly use HubSpot for creating marketing reports, running automated lead qualification workflows, and hosting our company website. We’re on their professional plan right now.
Has anyone here successfully migrated from HubSpot to something else? I’m worried about losing important features we rely on. What marketing platforms or CRM tools have worked well for you? Looking for suggestions that won’t break the bank but still handle the core marketing automation and reporting we need.
We made this exact switch 8 months ago - went with ActiveCampaign for marketing automation and kept Salesforce as our CRM. Integration works great and we’re paying 60% less than HubSpot. ActiveCampaign handles lead scoring and email workflows just fine, though it took our team 3 weeks to get the hang of it. We built custom Salesforce dashboards for reporting. Only real downside is you’ll need separate website hosting since ActiveCampaign doesn’t do that. Worth the switch despite the setup pain - saved us tons of money.
Been through this exact headache myself. The real issue with switching to different tools like Pipedrive or ActiveCampaign is you end up managing multiple platforms that don’t talk to each other properly.
What worked better for me was setting up everything through Latenode instead. You can connect Salesforce directly to whatever marketing tools you want without paying HubSpot’s crazy fees. I built workflows that pull data from Salesforce, run lead qualification logic, generate reports, and push everything back where it needs to go.
The cool part is you’re not locked into one marketing platform. You can use cheaper email tools, form builders, analytics services, whatever works for your budget. Latenode handles all the connections and automation between them.
For your website hosting concern, you can connect any hosting service to your marketing stack through the same automation flows. No vendor lock-in like HubSpot forces on you.
Saved my team about 70% on marketing costs and we actually have more flexibility now. The setup takes maybe a week but way easier than learning a whole new CRM.
pipedrive is a solid choice! we made the jump from hubspot too, and it was way less expensive. automations are decent, but reporting isn’t as advanced. just a heads up, you might need new hosting for your website.
