What are the common criticisms of Jira?

I am currently working on implementing Jira Service Management in our setup, and I’ve noticed many users expressing their dissatisfaction with it. I’m curious to know the specific challenges they encountered. From my initial review, it seems overwhelming, but I believe it has potential. The interface appears user-friendly for end-users. Is the negative feedback mainly due to improper configuration in their settings, or are there inherent flaws? Did users prefer the default features, or did they make customizations?

Jira can be complx cuz it has too many features, not all teams need 'em. Customization sounds good, but it can be a nightmare. Also, the learning curve is steeper than it looks! For smoller teams, the cnfigurations might be overwhelming. So, it might not be the best choice for everyone.
