Hey everyone, I’m kinda confused about Spotify’s layout and features. It feels like they keep changing things and I can’t find stuff easily anymore. Does anyone else think the app is getting more complicated to use? I’m wondering if there’s a reason behind these changes or if it’s just me struggling to keep up. Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but I’d love to hear what you guys think about the current state of Spotify. Is there a trick to navigating it better or am I just being old school? Thanks for any insights!
spotify’s ui is a mess, tbh. they keep tweakin it for no reason. i miss the old layout, way easier to find my playlists n stuff. now its like a treasure hunt everytime i open the app lol. wish theyd stop messin with it and focus on improving sound quality instead
I get where you’re coming from, Tom. Spotify’s UI changes can be frustrating. I’ve been using it for years, and I’ve noticed the constant tweaks too. Here’s my take: they’re trying to cater to a broader audience and integrate more features, which inevitably complicates things.
One thing that’s helped me is customizing the home screen. You can pin your favorite playlists and artists there, which saves time. Also, I’ve found the search function pretty reliable when I can’t find something through navigation.
That said, I do think Spotify could do a better job with user onboarding when they roll out major changes. A quick tutorial or guide would go a long way in helping users adapt. It’s not just you struggling – plenty of my friends have voiced similar concerns.
Ultimately, I think it’s about finding workarounds that suit your listening habits. It takes some getting used to, but once you find your groove, it gets easier.
