I’m thinking about upgrading to n8n Enterprise and wondering if anyone here has made the switch. I’m trying to get a sense of what the pricing looks like since they don’t publish it publicly. Are we talking hundreds or thousands per month?
Also curious about deployment options. For those who have Enterprise, did you go with their cloud hosting or are you still running it on your own servers? I’m weighing the pros and cons of both approaches.
Would love to hear about your experience with the upgrade process and whether the Enterprise features are worth the investment. Any insights would be really helpful as I’m trying to make a decision for my team.
Dealt with this last year and went through their whole sales pitch. Their pricing depends on how much you execute, workflow count, and what support you need. Can’t share exact numbers, but it gets expensive fast once you’re past basic usage. We started with self-hosting because we needed data sovereignty, but had to hire dedicated DevOps people to run it properly. The Enterprise auth features and workflow sharing have been huge wins for our remote team. Watch out for their minimum commitments - they push annual contracts that aren’t cheap. Sales team was solid though and let us do a proof of concept before signing anything.
We went through the Enterprise evaluation about six months ago. The pricing was pretty involved, as they want to know your workflow complexity and user count before quoting anything. For our team of 25 users with heavy automation needs, we’re talking mid-four figures monthly. We ended up going with their cloud option even though we initially wanted to self-host. The maintenance overhead killed that idea fast; keeping everything updated and secure was a nightmare. Their cloud infrastructure handles scaling much better than our internal setup, especially when processing gets heavy. The Enterprise features like advanced monitoring and priority support have been worth it, but ROI really depends on how critical automation is for your daily operations.
true, n8n’s pricing is kinda hidden. it’s tailored to your team size n usage. from what i gather, expect it to be in the high thousands. the upgrade process can be a bit tricky too. good luck!
