I’m struggling to find a reliable music bot for my Discord server.
I’ve been trying to stream full albums with my friends, but the usual picks aren’t working for me. Hydra has been down for a while, and Vexera no longer supports music streaming. Could anyone suggest an alternative bot that they currently use and trust?
Over the past few months, I have transitioned to using FredBoat for my server and found it to be a reliable solution for streaming full albums. Initially, I had difficulties with other popular bots, but FredBoat has proven to maintain consistent uptime and handles large playlists well. Its setup was straightforward and the command interface is intuitive, which reduced the usual frustrations associated with streaming issues. While no solution is perfect, my personal experience with it has been largely positive in terms of both performance and stability.
Over the past few months I started using NadekoBot on my server and have found its music module to be quite dependable. Initially, I was a bit wary of the setup as it requires a somewhat different configuration compared to the usual music bots. However, after spending some time fine-tuning its settings, I now enjoy a smooth streaming experience. Although it might not be as immediately intuitive as some of the simpler bots, its reliability, especially when streaming longer playlists, has proven to be valuable in my experience.
