I’m facing a strange problem with my custom Giphy stickers. They show up perfectly on Instagram stories, where I can see all 14, but only 2 of them appear when I try to use Facebook stories. I made them all the same way, and everything looks fine in my Giphy account settings. I’ve already logged out and back in, cleared my cache, and even reinstalled the apps, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone experienced this? Could there be some delay or a different approval process for content on Facebook compared to Instagram? I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue.
Facebook and Instagram have separate content filters even though Meta owns both. This is a common issue, as Facebook is much more conservative about approving third-party content, particularly Giphy stickers. They do not share whitelists, meaning your stickers require separate approval for each platform. I encountered the same problem last year; half of my approved Giphy stickers took an additional 3-4 weeks to show up on Facebook stories. Unfortunately, you cannot expedite the process, as it is entirely on Facebook’s end, but they typically appear eventually.
fb’s moderation is way stricter than ig’s, even tho they’re both from meta. ur stickers might still be under review for fb stories - same thing happened to me, took like 2 weeks for all to show up. just gotta be patient, unfortunately.

Facebook’s content filters are way more aggressive than Instagram’s. Your 12 missing stickers are probably sitting in Facebook’s review queue right now.
There’s also this weird regional rollout thing where Facebook releases approved content in batches by location, so it looks completely random.
What worked for me - check if your stickers have text, logos, or faces. Facebook flags these way harder than Instagram does. Try searching for your stickers directly in Facebook stories using keywords instead of going through the Giphy browser.
The waiting sucks but you can’t speed up Facebook’s approval. Takes 1-4 weeks usually.
