Has anyone else noticed that Xiu Xiu’s songs seem to have vanished from Spotify?
I was trying to enjoy some of their albums yesterday, but I couldn’t locate them on the platform at all. It appears that their whole collection has been taken down. Does anyone understand what led to this? Was there a disagreement with Spotify regarding royalties or licensing?
I’m quite disappointed since I had many of their tracks in my playlists and now they’re all inaccessible. Are they going to return to Spotify in the future, or should I start searching for their music on other platforms like Apple Music or Bandcamp?

for real! it’s a bummer. the whole polyvinyl thing is kinda wild, a lot of artists are feeling it. streaming services seriously need to step up their game. buying directly is probably the best way to support them, i mean, it’s just fair.
