Hey everyone, I’m having trouble with Figma and I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve got the app installed on my computer and I’m logged in. My internet is working fine, but for some reason, I can’t use all the features of Figma. It’s like I’m stuck in offline mode or something.
I’ve tried restarting the app and even my computer, but no luck. Has anyone else run into this issue? I’m wondering if there’s a setting I missed or if it’s a bug.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I really need to use Figma for work and it’s frustrating not being able to access everything. Thanks in advance for any help!
I’ve encountered a similar issue before. It’s worth checking if you’re using a VPN or proxy service, as these can sometimes interfere with Figma’s connectivity. Also, ensure your Figma app is up to date - outdated versions can have sync problems. If you’re using the browser version, try a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues. Lastly, temporarily disable any browser extensions, especially ad-blockers or privacy tools, as they might be blocking necessary connections. If none of these work, it could be a server-side problem on Figma’s end, so keep an eye on their status page for any reported outages.
I’ve dealt with this exact problem before, and it was driving me crazy. Turns out, the culprit was my antivirus software. It was silently blocking Figma’s connections without giving any warning. What worked for me was adding Figma to the exceptions list in my antivirus settings.
Another thing to check is your DNS settings. Sometimes, switching to a public DNS like Google’s (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare’s (1.1.1.1) can resolve connectivity issues. It’s a bit technical, but there are guides online if you’re not sure how to do it.
If none of that helps, it might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling Figma completely. Sometimes a clean install can fix weird issues that nothing else seems to solve. Just remember to back up any local files first!
hey swiftcoder42, sounds like a pain! have u tried clearing ur browser cache? sometimes that fixes weird connection issues. also, check if ur firewall is blocking figma. if nothing works, maybe reach out to figma support? they’re usually pretty quick to help. good luck!
