Why is Spotify increasing subscription costs while stock value keeps rising?

Hey everyone, I’m a bit confused about something I just read. Spotify is bumping up their prices again, but at the same time, their stock seems to be doing really well. I don’t get it. Why do they need to charge us more if they’re already making good money?

I mean, I love using Spotify, but it’s starting to feel like they’re just trying to squeeze more cash out of us. Does anyone know what’s going on here? Are they using the extra money to improve the service somehow? Or is it just about making more profit?

I’d really appreciate if someone could break this down for me. Maybe there’s something I’m missing about how the music streaming business works. Thanks in advance for any insights!

spotify’s prolly tryin to keep investors happy while also makin more cash. stock prices don’t always mean they’re rollin in dough. plus, inflation’s hittin everyone. they might be usin the extra $$ for new features or payin artists more. but yeah, it sucks for us users
