Zapier Integration from Instagram to Slack Failing

Hello everyone,

I’ve configured an automation process using Zapier that should send me a Slack alert whenever someone tags my business account on Instagram. However, even when creators go live and mention my account, I don’t receive any notifications on Slack. Can anyone offer insights into why this integration might be malfunctioning or provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

Based on my experience working with similar integrations, I ran into issues where authentication tokens expired or Instagram permissions silently changed without any obvious notice. I found that verifying that both the Instagram account and Facebook Business settings are correctly configured was an essential first step. Sometimes, minor misconfigurations in trigger setup within Zapier can lead to notifications not being sent to Slack. Regenerating the API tokens and testing the integration in a controlled environment helped pinpoint the issue. It may also be useful to check Zapier logs for deeper error messages.

I have encountered a comparable issue in a past integration project and discovered that sometimes the problem lies in the filters or conditions applied within the automation settings. The configuration might inadvertently block notifications if the incoming events do not exactly match expected patterns. Testing by simulating live events helped reveal discrepancies between the trigger data and what the automation was set to respond to. Ensuring that all authentication details are current and reviewing any recent API changes for Instagram and Slack have also been instrumental in resolving the issue.

hey, maybe its an api conflict; double-check your webhook settings in slack and instagram’s account conneections. i once had this hiccup too, and reconfiguring directly on zapier solved it. hope it nxt time works better. good luck!
