Zapier integration with Wix forms not functioning properly

Hey everyone, I’m having a tough time with my Wix forms lately. It seems like Wix made some changes to how they work with Zapier. I’ve got both old and new forms, but when I try to connect them to Zapier, it’s not pulling in any of the records. Super frustrating!

I’m wondering if anyone else is dealing with this problem too? I’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out a workaround.

I did some digging and found out that Webhooks might be a solution, but they’re a premium feature and way out of my budget right now. Anyone know of any other tricks or tips to get this working again?

Update: I heard back from Zapier support. Turns out there’s a known bug they’re working on. The good news is that it only affects test records. Once you publish your form, it should work fine. Fingers crossed they fix it soon!

I’ve encountered similar issues with Wix forms and Zapier integration recently. One workaround I’ve found effective is using the Wix API directly instead of relying on the built-in Zapier integration. It requires a bit more technical setup, but it’s more reliable and gives you more control over the data flow.

Another option to consider is using a third-party form tool that integrates well with both Wix and Zapier. Tools like JotForm or Typeform can be embedded in Wix sites and have robust Zapier connections. This might be a good interim solution while Wix and Zapier sort out their integration issues.

Regarding the test records bug, I’ve found that creating dummy submissions on the live form can help troubleshoot integration problems. It’s not ideal, but it can help identify where the breakdown is occurring in the data flow.

I’ve been using Wix forms with Zapier for a while now, and I’ve noticed some quirks lately too. One thing that’s worked for me is to completely disconnect and then reconnect the Zapier integration. It’s a bit of a pain, but it seems to reset things and get it working again.

Another trick I’ve found is to create a new form from scratch instead of trying to fix an existing one. For some reason, this often resolves integration issues. It’s not ideal, but it’s faster than waiting for official fixes sometimes.

Have you tried reaching out to Wix support directly? They might have some internal workarounds they can suggest. In my experience, their support team can be quite helpful when dealing with these kinds of integration hiccups.

Glad to hear Zapier is aware of the issue. In the meantime, you could consider using Google Sheets as an intermediary step if you’re really stuck. It’s not elegant, but it can be a temporary solution until they sort out the bug.

yo, ive had this prob too. super annoying! have u tried clearin ur browser cache? sometimes that helps. also, check if ur wix plan supports zapier integration fully. if not, might need to upgrade. sucks bout the bug tho. hope they fix it asap!
